I paid for the one month access and I'll continue using it for the handful of projects I have now - and I will continue to power through all of the crashes because it takes far less time to process images locally vs. The batch processing features are what brought me in and it's worth it for that feature alone. If the instability issues were addressed for this app I'd happily pay for a year subscription or buy it outright.

Included styles and style library access is a big plus.Large images are rendered quickly on my machine.Quality of image output and transfers is amazing.Be advised that custom filters remain only on the device you create it on thou and you will not see it on others.
I also like that the community can submit filters, sometimes better than the preset ones you get in the app. You have more control options than Prisma (a similar but less robust app) and since getting Painnt I hardly go to Prisma at all now. i’m tempted to dock it further since support is completely non-existent at this point. Personally i would like it to be avail across both of my MacBook pros… this is the reason i dock it one star.
PAINNT APP LICENSE
You cannot obtain separate licenses either as when you are on the second Mac, your only option is to extend the current license and not add a new one. That license does not transfer to other machines that you own and use your Apple ID with.

However, the Mac OS will only work (apparently) on one laptop or iMac, the one you used to subscribe with. The iOS will work across all your iOS devices when you activate a subscription. Both iOS and Mac OS versions work similarly. They have failed to reply to several email and help ticket submissions. It’s Great Once You Get a Feel for It… A Little Bit of a Learning Curve to be Effectiveīut do not expect any help from customer support.
